HOW TO OPEN CONTACT LENS QUICK TUTORIAL

Step 2: Gently pull off the plastic lid.

Step 4: Remove the rubber stopper. Always wash your hands with soap and water before handling lenses. Avoid using lenses directly from the bottle. Here’s a helpful guide on lens hygiene from the CDC.

Step 5: After washing your hands, gently shake the bottle and pour the lens into your clean palm.

Step 6: Place the lens into a clean contact lens case filled with fresh contact lens solution. Use a reputable multi-purpose solution — learn more about lens materials and care.

Step 7: Close the case and let the lenses soak for at least 8–9 hours before wearing them.
